Amsterdam Trade Bank (ATB) is a commercial bank registered in The Netherlands, almost fully owned by the Russian Alfa-Bank.  The company was founded in 1994 as a subsidiary of the Russian SBS-AGRO Bank, to provide trade financing for companies that wanted to do business in Russia and in the former Soviet Union. Amsterdam Trade Bank N.V. (ATB) is a fully licensed specialized institution focused on the entire spectrum of international Trade Finance (Grain, Metals & Oil), shipping and asset financing. ATB was established in Amsterdam in 1994. Since 2001 ATB is part of the Alfa Banking Group.

Challenge

ATB has been powered by  Finastra FusionBanking TI Plus 2.2 for the bank’s trade finance operations.  As the technology advancements and functionality enhancements faced swift changes, they wanted to upgrade to the latest version of FusionBanking TI Plus.

Our Involvement

Finastra’s end-to-end Working Capital solution offers the industry’s leading capabilities for frictionless trade and supply chain finance including; buyer and seller loans, letters of credit, collections, guarantees, supply chain finance and, government support for export credit and SME loans. ATB has been a Misys FusionBanking Equation customer for over 20 years. Misys FusionBanking Corporate delivers a complete, connected suite of solutions for corporate banking, covering digitalised front-to-back processing across trade finance, treasury services, payments, lending and cash management. PS Global actively partnered with Finastra in delivering the upgrade project to ATB.

Result
