Role: Trade Finance Technical Analyst
Location: Hyderabad, India | GCC Countries
Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Trade Finance Technical Analyst to support and enhance our trade finance technology landscape. In this role, you will act as a subject matter expert (SME) for trade finance systems, working closely with business users, vendors, and IT teams to deliver scalable, compliant, and efficient solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the SME for Trade Finance systems and processes, providing functional and technical expertise.
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for system enhancements and regulatory changes.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, vendors, and IT teams to deliver solutions through Java enhancements, system integrations, and customizations.
- Provide functional and technical support for Trade Finance applications.
- Perform impact analysis, feasibility studies, and solution design for new initiatives and changes.
- Support solution design involving:
- Database (DB) interactions and data flows
- Integration touchpoints with internal and external systems
- Application performance and scalability considerations
- Ensure solutions align with regulatory, operational, and business requirements.
Required Experience & Qualifications:
- 6+ years of relevant experience in Trade Finance systems or banking technology.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of Trade Finance products and workflows, including:
- Letters of Credit (LC)
- Bank Guarantees (BG)
- Documentary Collections
- Open Account
- Supply Chain Finance
- Bills Discounting
- Forfaiting
- Hands-on experience working with trade finance applications.
- Proficiency in SQL, data analysis, and system integration techniques.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
Relevant Experience: 6+ years
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or related field.
Areas of Expertise: Letters of Credit (LC), Bank Guarantees (BG), Documentary Collections, Open Account, Supply Chain Finance, Bills Discounting, Forfaiting. Skilled in working with trade finance applications, SQL, data analysis, and system integration techniques.
